How do I use it?

Bug Lite is a fairly straight forward program to use. What happens depends on what you choose from the file menu. The options are described below.
File Menu

Open Text File…
---------------
Selecting this item allows you to open a text file (as long as it is smaller than 32K in size) and edit or view it.
Do Report...
----------------
Choosing this will bring up a dialog that will allow you to supply the information that Bug Lite needs in order to generate a report. More information on this is available by choosing 'Help' from the Apple Menu when the Report Information dialog is visible.
Save...

Choosing this menu item will allow you to save the contents of the frontmost window into a text file.
Page Setup...
-----------------
This menu option allows you to set certain settings that affect how a document is printed.
Print...
-----------------
This menu option will print the text in the frontmost window on your currently selected printer.
Quit
-----------------
Choosing quit allows you to exit from Bug Lite.
Edit Menu
--------------------
Undo
-----------------
When available, this option will undo the last action performed.
Cut
-----------------
When available, this option will cut the selected text and place a copy of it onto the Clipboard.
Copy
-----------------
When available, this option will copy the selectd text onto the Clipboard without affecting it.
Paste
-----------------
When available, this option will copy the contents of the Clipboard to the current position in the window.
Clear
-----------------
When available, this option will delete the currently selected text without copying it to the Clipboard (see Cut above).
Glad you asked, Bug Lite will gather the following information:
Program Information:
The name and version number of the program that contains the bug/problem that you are reporting.
Problem Description:
The text that you just entered, describing the problem.
System information:
What version of system software you are using, how much memory you have in your Mac. How large the System Heap is, and how much free space there is in it, as well as other pertinent system information.
INITs,CDEVs,RDEVs:
What INITs, cdevs, and RDEVs you have in the system folder that is begin scanned.
